Wat Pho Exterior Buddha

Within the massive temple and palace complex in Bangkok is a temple called Wat Phra Chetuphon also known as Wat Pho. It’s famous for the gigantic, reclining, golden buddha inside the building. When I say gigantic, I mean it takes up the entire interior of the building! Though that was fascinating to see, I enjoyed the intricate designs on the outside of the building. While walking around, melting in the heat of Bangkok, we saw many Buddhist temples and finally got to cool off a bit by riding on a sampan boat down the river.
