Trấn Quốc Pagoda
$13.00 – $35.00
All over Vietnam are these stunning pagodas, places of worship for Buddhists. This is a depiction of Trấn Quốc pagoda, the oldest pagoda in the capital city of Hanoi. The pagoda is on a small peninsula, with luxuriant gardens. We were invited in to see the 1,500-year-old structure up close. Monks were worshipping, singing, and praying in this quiet oasis. An ancient Bodhi tree, a symbol of enlightenment, stood in the corner. The tree was a gift from India, a cutting from the original tree where Buddha had his enlightenment experience.
This home decor art was created with watercolor paints on watercolor paper. The prints are high-quality giclee prints ready to be framed and hung in your home.
