November Birth Flower (Chrysanthemum)

In November, many of us are thinking about football, turkey, autumn leaves, gratitude, and preparing for winter. We aren’t usually thinking about colorful flowers such as chrysanthemums, yet they bloom and survive through much of the autumn. These flowers have significance in Asian and European history, but can now be found worldwide. Chrysanthemums were believed to have health properties that promote long life. It turns out they can help with vascular and cardiac problems as well as take toxins from the air.
